My name is Olivia Lima, LMHC, CCTP. I am a Latinx Millennial Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I have experience working with school age children, teens, adults, couples and families. I specialize in the treatment of complex trauma, communication, socializing, peer and workplace bullying, body image, self-esteem building, anxiety, depression, codependency and inner child healing. I am a strong ally for the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities.
Get StartedThis experience is about YOU! I am here to encourage you to finally put yourself first. I will be here every single step of the way as you grow into a healed version of yourself. There is no room for judgment here. "TMI" does not exist in my sessions. My goal is to meet you where you are in your journey by utilizing a compassionate and caring approach. My preferred therapeutic modalities are: client centered, existential, cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment based and trauma informed. I encourage full openness within my sessions in order to build and maintain a strong therapeutic connection; I want you to tell me what is and isn't working for you in the therapeutic process. My job here is to be a supporting character while encouraging you to nurture that main character that lives within you.
Outside of my professional practice, my interests include: karaoke, karaoke and more karaoke. I love to sing. My go to karaoke song is Zombie by The Cranberries, or any song by Adele. I am willing to sing for you, but please don't expect me to go toe to toe with Whitney Houston; I never said I was THAT good. I also enjoy binge watching television shows; Law and Order SVU is my personal favorite! I am also not opposed to reality television, because it gives me SO much life. If you have not yet watched Love is Blind or Jersey Shore Family Vacation, I suggest you do so! I also enjoy spending time with my family, my husband and my best friends. I definitely recharge around my loved ones and find it very meaningful to spend as much of my free time with them as possible.
